Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Good value for the price. Good location, close to public transportation, quiet neighborhood, clean and spacious. Only downside is a lack of air conditioning, but is to be expected in a building of this age.

The rooms are not necessarily bad, but they are not perfect either. The kitchen could have more stuff like plates and cups, it's nice there was salt and pepper tho. What was weird is that there were no dishwasher at all. The apartment itself felt pretty old and wasn't super warm (it wasn't super cold, just a little but chilly), the floor had some jumpy parts as well. Sometimes you could smell cigarettes inside the apartment. I'm not sure if those were neighbors smoking and it getting inside thru the windows but it wasn't pleasant. The worst thing was that there's no parking and you cannot park under the building unless you have a license for that

Our booking was canceled on the morning of check-in date, due to double booking of the same room. Although the staff tried to help us find another room, it didn’t work out and caused huge unpleasantness to our trip. Please improve your booking management.

The apartment building is undergoing some major renovation and improvements. It looked like our apartment had been done and although the bathroom and kitchen were up to a reasonable standard certain aspects of the apartment let it down. Described as two bedrooms, the apartment is in fact a one bedroom apartment with a living room containing two single beds. Further the living room curtains are very flimsy and the room was bathed in light from the street all-night, add to that the traffic noise and the room was difficult to sleep in. More importantly and of serious concern was the loose flooring in the hallway near the bedroom door something that needs addressing urgently as it constitutes a health and safety issue.

The apartments are undergoing renovation so at the moment they are a very mixed bag. Ours had a new bathroom which was done nicely, although the shower temperature was difficult to get right. The kitchen was newly fitted but decoration wasn't finished, and the separate toilet was still very much work in progress. Maybe when they are finished these will be nice apartments, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Other grips are; The apartment sleeps 4 people, but the kitchen only had plates and other items for 3 people! (We were only 3 so it was just OK). The kitchen in general lacks some basic items. The Wifi was a bit slow, but worst was the strange connection system. The connection to the router is open and unsecured (!!) and you must the provide a username and password to gain access. The issue is that after some time some devices disconnect automatically and then the next time you connect you have to enter username and password again. This becomes frustrating when you have entered the same thing 5 -10 times every day for several days! Parking around the area is also not the best. Most spaces are reserved for those with permits, so you need to be lucky to find a
