STARCAR Autovermietung München-Arabellapark

The handling of the booking was unprofessional and disorganized. The vehicle was not provided as booked. Despite reserving a compact car with automatic transmission one month in advance, I was offered a manual transmission van after more than one day forth and back which I had to pick up at another station on the outskirts of the city. No cancellation or goodwill policy available. The station’s management appeared overwhelmed and was neither knowledgeable nor cooperative. During operating hours, the station was unreachable for over 24 hours. When inquired, station manager responded, “I don’t have time for that.” The deposit information was incorrect, while the booking stated less, a deposit of €800 was required on-site. Overall, horrible experience, long waiting times and poor organization. Cannot recommend.

On Saturday August the 17th, they refused to honor a valid reservation I had done on their website. The employee at the office refused to give me the car because he was not happy with the proof I was able to provide about my itinerary in Germany. First off: Why the hell do you need to know where am I going to sleep? Secondly, I was a nice guy and really needed the car so I did show him hotel reservations for half the interval. They where in my girlfriend's name for double rooms. So he refused to lend me the car, because they were not in my name. I felt extremely disrespected. On top of that, they have the audacity to send me a 100EUR bill for a now show. I was their when you opened office, bubba. Avoid this scammers and use a more reputable company instead.

Just booked a car for myself. My flight was delayed and I showed up 1,5h later just to be informed that my booking got cancelled without trying to contact me, even though they had my phone number and email. Horrible customer service. Not recommended.

That’s a fantastic rental office. Andrew was just such an awesome guy. Helpful. Friendly. Cheerful. I booked a car online for a day only. We received a quite new Renault Scenic, Andrew took pics and told me that there are warning lights but nothing to worry about as the car is safe and I’m working order. I wasn’t worried. The car was clean and great to drive. However the tank wasn’t full and I missed it upon check out. I returned it full. Not a big deal. But I recommend to check the fuel level before leaving. All in all highly recommended car rental company and especially this office! Andrew, once again, many thanks. :)
