This location offers a pleasant environment for dining and leisurely walks, reminiscent of the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA. The atmosphere is relaxed, with numerous attractions and points of interest, including a castle.

We were there for eoft. Unfortunately, the theater was much more focused on taking as much money from us as possible instead of focusing on giving us a good experience. Guests were forced by the staff to put their coats in the Garderobe due to "sicherheitsgrund" which is already ridiculous. If you actually have a safety problem with it (which I don't know what it could be), then you need to inform people exactly what the risk is. If you choose not to do that, then the least you HAVE to do is to not charge for the service. If the theater requires me to turn in my coat, then you have to give the service for free. But at the end, it looks like it was just a big scheme to take more money from us. ABSURD! Furthermore, because nobody knew about this s-t-u-p-i-d rule, everyone waited until the last minute to enter the theater, which meant there was a big line to turn in coats. This also meant that many people were late for the start of the show, despite having arrived on time. They should have informed everyone days in advance of this ridiculous idea. The theatres in NYC and London and Paris should come to Ingolstad to learn from the quality of the program and take example!

Great location by the river, old city, and food vendors. Loved the premiere of Volkstucke2.0 and the Puccini sing along during Bavarian theatre days. Ingolstadt Theatre - well done.
