Wir haben in der Kirche St. Georg Schwabelweis geheiratet und unsere Tochter taufen lassen. Tolle Kirche - schön hell und modern. Ein herzliches vergelts Gott an den Pfarrer Herrn Alkofer für die tolle Messe - insbesondere wie persönlich er sie gestaltet hat. Ebenfalls ein herzliches vergelts Gott an den Organisten für die tolle Orgelmusik und an seine Tochter, die ministriert hat!

Hezký kostel na břehu Dunaje, těsně vedle Svatojakubské cesty. Na východě Regensburgu.

Die Kirche wurde inzwischen innen und außen umfangreich restauriert. Sie ist wieder ein Blickfang. Auch die Außenflächen um die Kirche wurden wieder sehr gut erneuert. Diese Flächen eignen sich für einen Empfang nach der Trauung. Unmittelbar südlich der Kirche befindet as ich eine große Freitreppe zur Donau hin. Begrenzt stehen Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Kirche ist rollstuhlgerecht hergerichtet worden.

Der nah gelegene Kies Strand ist ein absolutes Highlight zum baden an der Donau im Regensburger Raum. Man kann entspannt in die flach abfallenden Donau hineinlaufen, also kann man hier auch beruhigt mit Kindern baden gehen. Die Strömung ist auch sehr schwach, so dass ich gutem Herzen meinem 6 jährigen Sohn dort das schwimmen verbringen kann. Ein paar Muscheln können die kleinen oder jung geblieben auch suchen und finden. Die Bäume spenden ausreichend Schatten, so dass jeder Badegast auch ein Plätzchen ohne Sonnenbrand Gefahr finden kann.

Very peaceful and tranquil place, amazing sunset views. Ruhiger und entspannter Ort. Super Aussicht!
