I would Absolutely recommend this restaurant. The food is cooked and served fresh. The hostess is very friendly. Very delicious and flavourful food. Every side dish had its own flavour and texture.

The food was delicious! The people who work here are so nice and friendly. The place is a bit small, but if you make a reservation, there's no problem. <3

What a great addition to the food scene of Ehrenfeld! Delicious food in close proximity to public transport, right at the epicentre of Ehrenfeld. Very cozy, a great and very charming staff, and most important of all: Excellent food! Was there with the family, and we had a wide variety of dishes, because they offer platters intended to be shared by multiple people, containing a lot of different foods (think an Omakase menu at a japanese place). The kitchen is visible from the dining area, so you can absolutely see that they do all their food fresh and from scratch. The food is delightful, rooted in traditional ethiopian, but with a european twist, and that for once is meant positively. It's not "Ethiopeans toning down their cooking for europeans", but "Ethiopeans in europe cooking with european ingredients, like they would at home. Example: Of course you would expect several varieties of lentils, but they positively pale in comparison with the "Grühnkohl" (meaning "kale" in german, and probably not the thing you'd expect in an african restaurant) side on the menu! I had never had kale done ethiopean style, but it rocks! In conclusion: If you're in Cologne, and don't have a bite
