One of two Ethiopian restaurants I've tried in Köln. This one wins for me because the flavors come across a little stronger. (I checked twice 😁). Both restaurants are excellent for anyone that loves Ethiopian food. The coffee is out of this world.

Nice ambiance and good food. Service was attentive and quick. Only downside was that the portions on the vegetarian platter were a bit small, so we weren’t truly full. In general each portion of the ‘side dishes’ was small, it didn’t feel like an abundant platter… you can judge from the picture.

Family portion is very filling and delicious — injera was fluffy and came with extra on the side (not too sour either!) meat portion was small in the family platter but the variety makes up for it. Chicken in the middle was spicy but so rich and flavorful. Try the traditional tea and the netherlands produced Ethiopian beer. The red lentils were our favorite, will return to try the main dishes!

Amazing! We had the vegetarian sharing plate and it was perfect, the staff were lovely and you could tell they were very passionate about the food and their restaurant. Overall really great place

Surprisingly good restaurant with super-delicious and great food. We had a dish for 4 people and it was quite satisfying. The samosas were delicate and very-well made. Pricing is quite normal, certainly not over-priced. The staff when we visited was limited but very professional and kind. It is one of the best restaurants of Köln for Ethiopian cuisine. Coming back!
