5 star until you rent & no service after tha. When asked for invoice they say the printer is faulty, you can't even download invoice from their app or website since months now. Once you start complaining the representative suddenly mentions they do not understand English until which they were communicating fluently. The customer care doesnt even have a phone number to talk to a real person. I wish I could give them 0 stars

My experience with SIXT was extremely disappointing. I rented a car with full insurance (Vollkasko), but during my trip the vehicle developed a serious technical fault and had to be recovered by roadside assistance. I followed all instructions given by SIXT and their roadside team. Instead of helping, I was constantly transferred from one agent to another. Whenever I called, I was told to send an email, and when I sent emails, I received little or no meaningful response. One agent even told me to wait until Monday because the branch was closed, despite the fact that I was stranded in the middle of my road trip with my family and our 2-month-old baby. A SIXT agent in Barcelona cancelled my rental agreement, creating even more confusion. I spent around 9 hours on phone calls trying to resolve the issue, but there was almost no communication between the German and Spanish teams. I was repeatedly asked to explain the same situation and was eventually told that I could either fly back to Munich or pay for a new contract. I had already paid around €1,300 for the rental, yet during the trip approximately €3,600 was charged or attempted to be charged to my account, including around €2,

Rented car, checked-in online, came even 45min later than planned: no car ready. After waiting 30min I got the question if a manual car would be ok, which would be a downgrade. On the question why the car wasn’t ready “because we forgot to check the online check-ins”. Don’t recommend it, and this as Sixt Platinum Member. After return: I handed the key back to the desk agent. Now it’s 2 days later, the car is still marked as overdue in the app. Haven’t received a final invoice nor my deposit back. When I checked with them I only got a “we need some time to process this”. Every other Sixt location I have ever rented from did this almost instantly. Do not rent here!

Mr. Kenan, the manager of this car rental company, provided excellent service! He speaks both German and English and was very patient in explaining the vehicle discounts! It was a very pleasant car rental experience! I will definitely support this company again!

Nice staff, upgraded my booking vehicle from BMW 3 to audi A6 for free, but I still chosed to pay a litte bit to upgrade to Mercedes E-class diesel. It was worth at all. But the parking lot is in the basement, it is a little difficult to find the way out specifically we are the first time here.
