SIXT Autovermietung München Isartor

No staff here, no assistance when the booking was incorrect on their system, simply recommended to pick up a car at the airport. Get the push for modernisation but miss speaking to a human at a desk that can be flexible and make a plan on the spot (especially when it’s their system error).

Woman at desk was very helpful upgrading car since we had brought an extra piece of luggage. Computer messed up and charged more but she was true to word and refunded me. Easy to pick up in Munich and drop car to Innsbruck (cost of course but expected). Helpful tip would have been to change navigation language before driving.

rented a car from sixt isartor. on returmn, I checked the vehicle and it was all good as when I picked it up. A week later I receive a damage claim of 1100 EUROS for a scratch they claim it is 5-10cm (that was my maximum excess they could charge me). The scratch is not even visible in their evidence photo. I have asked them to show proof that the picture was taken immediately after I dropped off the car, but no response. I am convinced that the scratch was not there when I dropped the car. I also have a picture from a day before dropping the car back which shows no damage at all. They are extremely unprofessional. WHY don't you have an employee there in the car park to check the car together with you when you drop it? WHY DO YOU SCAM YOUR CUSTOMERS SIXT? I used to be a regular customer for sixt, but never in my life will ever rent from them and I will take my case to the consumer protection body in Germamy. I will also tell everybody I know about this, to make sure they avoid sixt in the future. Absolutely disgraceful from them and hpw they handled the case. Be aware of this and avoid sixt at all costs. They will try their Best to make a PROFIT out of damage claims, wether you

Rented car for 5 days and everything went smooth. Got a free upgrade to a nice new Skoda. Helpful and friendly staff that gave us good info about how to buy vignette online for driving in Austria. Returning the car was also easy and shortly after i received an email confirming that the car was ok and no new damages detected.

I returned my vehicle at the correct time on a Sunday evening. Employee didnt get in and register the returned keys until the next day, and they charged a late return fee for that. Couple of months later we get charged for a speeding ticket, all good, my bad, but a 200% "processing fee"? Get out of here. That's criminal. Not recommended, there's enough good car rental places, avoid these scammers
