Really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and perfectly spiced. There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was friendly and attentive. Would happily come back!

I love the many options of Sichuan cuisine on the menu - everyone is sure to find something! Recommend getting a few main dishes and splitting so you can try many yummy foods! Always such a treat and great for a group gathering or team dinner. All the dishes we ordered melted in our mouths and had such wonderful and sassy flavors.

Highly recommended place for Sichuan cuisine! The seabass was very nice! The chili chicken and dumplings were also tasty! I forgot to take a photo of the eggplant dish. I found it to be a bit too much on the sweet side, not the 鱼香 I was hoping for. But the rest is very good!

A Sichuan gem in Munich that exceeded expectations! This one came recommended by a colleague when I mentioned missing good Asian food, and I headed along with a friend for dinner with cautious optimism. After too many disappointing Asian dining experiences across Europe, I wasn’t getting my hopes up. I’m very glad I was wrong. SEEN is a Sichuan Chinese restaurant located in the Maxvorstadt neighbourhood, next to Königsplatz, about a ten minute walk from Munich Central Station. From the moment the food started arriving, it was clear this place is the real deal. We started with the dumplings, and they were a delight. Each one plump, well-filled, and full of flavour. My only small note is that the dumpling skin was a touch on the doughy side, but that is a minor point in an otherwise strong opening to the meal. For sharing mains, we ordered the wagyu beef fried rice, the steamed fish, and the Sichuan prawns. The fried rice was outstanding, deeply flavoured, generous, and the kind of dish you keep going back to even when you are already full. A wonderful Chinese restaurant with authentic flavors and a very welcoming atmosphere. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of rich, well-balanced tastes. The ingredients were fresh, and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine.
