Lovely setting in the woods and next to the lake, but the lack of air conditioning meant sleeping with the windows open. From 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, noise from guests talking, running, and laughing inside and outside the hotel repeatedly woke us up. Combined with the paper-thin walls, it made for a very poor night’s sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or look elsewhere.

The curtain didn't cover the window all the way. But generally the room was clean and fine. Breakfast was better than expected. Location hardly gets better than this hotel.

What can I say, from the moment we arrived until we left it read a great experience! The gentleman on reception was humourous and helped us a great deal! We had an evening meal there only one time due to the restaurant closed one evening! We decided to pop to Aldi and get wine and cheese, came back and we're given plates and glasses to make it a picnic on our balcony! Breakfast was huge with every type of food you could think of, to be honest nurnburg sausage sandwiches were what I enjoyed for myself! Great beers in the restaurant, food was adequate but could be improved! Other than that our stay was fantastic!

We were looking for a relatively cheap hotel in the neighborhood of Berlin for a course that my wife had to do on a Sunday. The hotel that we found was Seehotel Grunewald. The price was quite low, so we expected a moderate hotel, but we got much more than what we paid for. The location is really amazing! it's in the middle of a beautiful park with some nice beaches at walking distance of the hotel. The personel was very friendly too. We arrived a bit late due to traffic, so the kitchen was already closed. But it was no problem for them to make a small portion for our one-year-old daughter. Overall we had a very nice stay and we would definitely choose this hotel again if we go back to Berlin some day! Also, if you're a cycling fanatic, this is a beautiful place to go cycling with some decent hills to climb :-)
