München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We are now on our third swimming course here. Our child always has so much fun and she is learning the basics of swimming well. The games proposed by the teacher are engaging and instructive, the songs to sing all together are also very nice. The only thing to improve are the changing rooms. Highly recommended.
