München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I took 3 female swimming courses and highly recommend it. I was scared of water but now feel excited to go to the class thanks to a lot of encouragement from the teachers and other participants. The teachers are very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is very collaborative, we cheered for each other’s milestone every time. I don’t speak German, the teachers are willing to spend time and effort to explain in English for me, really appreciate that.

These high reviews are very unexpected. Nobody answers when you call them in that short opening hours they provided; you always hear an automated voice message that "they are not reachable today". The techniques they teach are faulty; it takes longer to learn swimming if you follow them. They provided only five classes and cancelled the last one and haven't refunded the fee of the last class even after more than a month!

I was skeptical when I started as the course contain only 6 classes. But the classes are so well designed and trainers are competent and friendly, classes went so well. I could kind of swim just after 3 classes. I still need lot of practice to improve my form but now I have confidence to practice. So glad I took this course and definitely booking next one here.

The administrative staff and swimming coaches are professional and helpful. German is not our native language, yet they make the effort to communicate with us in English about our child's progress. Our child looks forward to the swimming lessons, and is now more confident in the water. The sessions are fun, at the child's pace, and orientated towards developing water safety as well as swimming skills.
