Located at Im Gewerbepark A13, 93059 Regensburg, Sanitätshaus Reichel & Platzer operates as a sanitätshäuser serving Regensburg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–1 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0941 63091430. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, sanitaetshaus-reichel.de.

With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 81 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for sanitätshäuser & medizinbedarf in Regensburg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

Regensburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Really happy with the service. The lady took time, measured and then provided with what could work best. Since the vacations were coming ahead she even told, in case the knee bandage is not comfortable after a while, I could always come back and get it exchanged. Really nice!
