Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 705 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for krankenhäuser & kliniken in München. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Last week, my wife gave birth here, and we had a very positive experience. The hospital staff, doctors, and midwives (Hebammen) were all extremely caring, supportive, and professional. They helped us throughout the entire process, and we truly appreciated their kindness and dedication. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning or fan in the room during the heatwave, which made it quite uncomfortable, especially for our newborn baby. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this hospital. The doctors and midwives were outstanding, and we are very grateful for the excellent care we received.

Make sure that your wife dont have to encounter "BIANKA ASZTALOS", the worst in nursing staff. Our daughter was born at this Klinikum and about the staff I would like to mention specifically three people. Frau Olga Wuzer and Frau Kerstin Pendorf are amazing ladies. We are very thankful couple even for small things but these ladies are just amazing. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MENTION ABOUT "BIANKA ASZTALOS" which is one of the WORST PERSON ON EARTH and Has NO EMPATHY at all for newly born babies and their mothers. I still remember the 3rd day of my wife there when I came to Klink in morning and She was literally crying because that night Bianka Asztalos had the duty. She behaved the worst and I can't even believe that if she knew how to do her job. My wife was super afraid and in shock about calling anyone from the nurse station as she thought everyone will behaved bad and shout at her. I register my verbal complain to staff at the station as well. I would still give this Klinik 5 stars because Doctors, Nursing Staff and everyone is great and very humane but as the parents of first baby, we would pray to never see a person like like Bianka Asztalos. It is good tht you can find the name an

As first time parents, we have no words to thank to this beautiful, wonderful place. I’m really happy about the decision to select this amazing hospital in my first pregnancy and my experience was extremely satisfying and I always felt that, I was in the best hands of the world. My German was poor and most of the staff were English speaking and the doctors, nurses and midwives here are really kind and helpful. I will recommend this hospital to anyone for their pregnancy journey. They are so good, knowledgeable, kind, helpful, empathetic and they do everything to make the mothers and babies safe. Thanks a lot Fraunklinik and the super team.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team for the care and support we received during the birth of our daughter. Although my birth journey was not entirely smooth due to several factors unrelated to the hospital, I always felt that I was in the best possible hands. My midwives, Sandra and Ute, accompanied me through a long and challenging labor of about 20 hours with incredible patience, professionalism, and kindness. Due to a fever and our baby’s elevated heart rate, it ultimately became necessary to perform a C-section. In such a moment, the worry you feel for your child is indescribable. I am deeply grateful to Oberärztin Dr. Annegret Barkai, who was exceptionally empathetic and supportive during this difficult decision and throughout the process. Her calm and compassionate manner meant a great deal to us. Every member of the team who came into the room treated us with warmth and care. Our daughter also needed to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit, and we were incredibly thankful for the nurses and the young pediatric doctors there. They were truly empathetic, reassuring, and always took the time to support us during what was an emotionally intense

As a first-time mom, giving birth at Rotkreuzklinikum was an experience I will always be grateful for. Being alone and speaking very little German, I was understandably scared. However, the doctors, nurses, and midwives went above and beyond to make me feel supported and understood every step of the way. From the delivery room to the NICU and the recovery room, I was surrounded by staff who genuinely cared. They were patient, attentive, and made sure I felt safe, despite the language barrier. The love and support I received were exactly what I needed to heal quickly, both physically and emotionally. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for their care. The team turned a daunting experience into one where I felt nurtured and respected. I only wish I could call out the names of the staff who helped me, because they deserve all the praise. I’m deeply grateful for the support system at this hospital and would highly recommend it to any new moms looking for a compassionate and caring environment.
