The campervan itself was brand new and in excellent condition, which was definitely a positive point. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, mainly due to the after-sales support and the delay in returning the security deposit. We experienced an issue during our trip and found the support process slow and difficult, with long waiting times and a lack of timely assistance. The same lack of efficiency continued after returning the campervan, particularly regarding the security deposit, which took much longer than expected to be returned. For us, good customer service is just as important as the quality of the vehicle. Unfortunately, despite the campervan being excellent, the overall experience means that we would not rent from Roadsurfer again.

Fantastic Experience with Roadsurfer in Munich! I recently rented a campervan from Roadsurfer’s Munich location, and the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. The Van: Vehicle was in great condition, well-maintained, and nicely cleaned before handover. The App: Their app made the entire rental seamless. Everything from the initial booking, check-in, check-out, and recording damage control was intuitive and hassle-free. Returns & Deposit: Handing the van back was a breeze. Final vehicle checks were completed within an hour of drop-off, and my insurance deposit was credited back to my account almost immediately. Smooth process, great customer service, and reliable vehicles. I’ll definitely be booking with Roadsurfer again for future road trips!

My campervan trip was absolutely unforgettable. The vehicle was reliable, comfortable, and surprisingly easy to drive, even through mountain roads, lakeside routes, and busy city areas. It became my home for the journey and allowed me to experience places in a way that would not have been possible with hotels. What impressed me most was the excellent service provided by the company. From the moment I picked up the camper until I returned it, everything was professional, organized, and customer-friendly. The staff were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer any questions, which gave me confidence before starting my adventure. I traveled through some of the most beautiful regions in Europe and the camper performed perfectly throughout the entire trip. The freedom to wake up next to stunning lakes, explore the mountains during the day, and visit lively towns in the evening made this a truly special experience. Thank you for making this trip so enjoyable. I would definitely rent from this company again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable road trip experience.

We were so excited about our trip. We watched all of the RV prep videos, we knew our route. Let’s do this! Land in Munich, get to the RS location. Nice people but no instruction what so ever. Just “take a look, let us know if you need anything, safe trip.” Had to ask for the cooking box. Even though the website said it was included he would “have to charge me because the website had not been updated.” New policy I guess. Get on the road. Still very excited. First camping stop in Italian Alps. My God! So Beautiful! Wake up ready to head out Canopy will not retract. Inn Keeper at the RV spot tried to help but it was no use. There was some scratches on the track that suggested someone had trouble before as well. We call Support. Adrien in Spain checks to see if there any damage reported before/nothing. Many exchanges and 4 hours later: ‘Ok next step stay put and wait for our technicians. Maybe a couple days! ‘ Me: How about I take it off and leave it in Venice. Not on our route but to end this we will do it. Him: ok that will work No apologies. No solutions. We had to come up with the remedy. I borrow tools from a local. Very poor customer service. Rented a van twice from Roadsurfer. The first time was a van with a portable fridge that plugs in to a 12V outlet. After leaving the depot and driving some distance, I noticed that the fridge was not working. I carefully reviewed the instructional videos, and used my own charger to confirm that the 12V outlet itself was working OK. I tried to contact customer service, but everything in their system is an attempt to force users into resolving problems themselves. I was eventually able to get a reply by email, but the agent seemed convinced that it was my problem, and not a mechanical defect. I had to go out of my way to drive to another Roadsurfer depot, where they brought out a new adapter for the fridge, which worked right away. So it was a mechanical defect after all. At the return, I complained about the poor service and was told "yeah we don't have a phone number and we're understaffed." The second time I rented a higher-end model, which came with a shower, toilet, and sink. This was also during the winter. Nowhere in their documentation or the instructional videos did it say that these items can't be used when it is below roughly 6ºC. I only fou
