Restaurant Gao is a chinesisch in München, Bayern. For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Restaurant Gao on 089 38665555; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, restaurant-gao.de.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 2,364 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We came for the lunch buffet. The food was incredibly salty and we had hard time eating it. They charge an extra €2 if you don't order a drink, which is completely unfair. The desserts were stale and seemed like they had been waiting for days, especially the waffles and cakes. When we asked the staff questions, they responded rudely. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied.

The food was extremely salty and also did not feel sanitary. I suffered from food poisoning for a week after getting dinner here. Just putting it out here so that for those with weak stomach can avoid if possible (the friend I was with was fine afterwards and I usually don’t eat so much of very salty food so this was probably why it upset mine and not my friend’s)

The best of the best of the best Chinees Restaurant in Munich! Guys, I deeply recommend, from deep of my heart to come here and eat like Greek Gods! The food is amazing! There is so much choice to choose from; from Sushi, Chinees Dishes, Seafood, additions such as fries and bunch of salads, a bunch of desserts, live seafood and meat that you choose with vegetables and they prepare it in the momen before your eyes. Cholocolate fountain and icecream. A bunch of fruits to choose from as well. Also, very important; the ambient is amazing, Chinastyle decorated and very very beautiful. Stuff are AMAZING. Very nice, very kind! I'm just speechless ❤️

This is our third time during visiting Munich. Last year we tried twice, again this year we visited and invited our family to spend nice time with good atmosphere. The restaurant name was majestic last year, the name changed this year I don't know why? But same amazing and helpful staff. Recommended for families and friends whomever want spend nice time with a variety of buffet food. Price affordable for the variety and clean place and food.

We went to the Abendbuffet, the abend buffet on Sunday and Friday are 24.9€, for this price this is not worth it. When we selected the sea food items, we got the plate back with dishes that were not cooked properly. There were deserts, but it isn't even tastier than the frozen dessert, bought from the supermarket. The fruits were ok. The fried meat items available are ok, but not satisfactory. The only good thing is that you can try a variety of Chinese dishes all at once. The drinks are extra.
