Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Ingolstadt, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The staff here were beyond lovely and helpful. Room was big, bathroom slightly cosy but good shower. Two armchairs in the room. Breakfast was good, buffet with very nice selection. No coffee/tea in the room, but there was a coffee/tea station on the 2nd floor with everything you needed, including 2 sofas. This hotel also has the most amazing Italian restaurant on the ground floor.

Location is perfect, in the city center. The bus stop (Rathaus) is at 6 min walking. The room was really big as well as the bathroom. There’s a big closet also. The breakfast has many options and the staff is friendly.

Nice hotel, ideal location. An older building but very well maintained. Bamberg suite comes with very large bathroom. No kettle in the room but there is a tea/coffee station a little further down the hall which was great.
