Prinzregentenbad (Freibad) is a schwimmbäder in München, Bayern. It is listed at Prinzregentenstraße 80, 81675 München-Bogenhausen, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as öffentliches bad, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
For beauty and wellness businesses, it is worth asking how long the treatment takes, whether the quoted price includes VAT and what the cancellation policy is. Popular slots fill quickly, so book early. German saunas and thermal baths have their own etiquette: most sauna areas are textile-free (no swimwear), you sit on your towel, you shower before every session, and the Aufguss, the attendant's steam ritual, runs to a posted timetable.
Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in München keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, swm.de.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 502 reviews, which is a strong result for a schwimmbäder in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

A bit small but clean and nice pool

Well organised, just too crowded on the weekend. Also just one slide and one diving board, if that's your thing. There's only 2 lanes for swimmers, meaning it's mostly recreational. On the upside, there's lots of grass and a volleyball court during summer!

We were there with #Littlefeet in the afternoon around 15:30. By 18:00, the "Prinzi" had long since filled up with schoolchildren and kindergarten children and their parents. The children's pool is smaller than those at the Michaelibad, Schyrenbad or Maria Einsiedel Bad, for example, and has a kind of circuit in the middle, alternating between current and waves. The large swimming pool for swimmers is directly adjacent. Non-swimmers are not allowed in here. Behind it there is a small but deep pool for those who like to jump from the single or triple diving board. There is also a large water slide. Finally, there is a pool for toddlers at the very back that has the advantage of being in the shade. All in all, the "Prinzi" seems rather small and squat compared to the Schyrenbad, Michaelibad or Maria Einsiedelbad. What all the others don't have, however, is a sandy beach, including a pool for toddlers. ice Next to it, you can relax wonderfully with your ice cream on a deck chair. The restaurant with kiosk is not cheap, but hey: outdoor french fries are the best! Or an ice cream on a stick. Littlefeet also thought that the water was warmer overall than in the other outdoor poo
