The staff were really nice, and the food was really good! We got the tonno pizza, salami, and B&B pizza, all which can be eaten good when hot and good when cold (as I couldn’t finish my pizza, I had to take it home).

During my recent stay in Fürth, I had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Zulu, often hailed as the number one pizzeria in Germany and renowned for serving some of the best Neapolitan-style pizzas outside of Naples. I had heard the hype, and I can confirm—it is absolutely deserved. The atmosphere at Pizza Zulu is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual yet memorable meal. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. Our waiter was particularly attentive and offered excellent wine pairings to complement our pizzas, which elevated the experience even further. I opted for the classic Margherita, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The crust had the perfect balance of crispiness and chew, the sauce was vibrant and flavorful, and the fresh mozzarella and basil tied everything together beautifully. Every bite felt authentic and indulgent. If you find yourself in Fürth—or anywhere nearby—and you’re a fan of true Neapolitan pizza, Pizza Zulu is a must-visit. The combination of outstanding food, friendly service, and cozy ambiance makes this pizzeria a standout destination. Highly recommended!

The food was really good. I had a margherita pizza and it was delicious, felt really authentic. The place has a nice, friendly vibe even though it was super busy and the tables were pretty close together. It kind of adds to the atmosphere in a way. The only downside was the service, our food took quite a while to come out, but other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Number one in Germany? We couldn't pass this opportunity to taste it. The place at first at first impression? A really weird one... There is a bar downstairs and a hotel on the first floor with outdoor seating for the pizzeria, the indoor one is a bit hidden however with the help of service we finally managed to sit down. The owner has to be a fan of football and Napoli club looking at the interior, however it is weirdly mixed with what I would call American restaurant style, but might be just my opinion. The second thing we were not entirely comfortable with were the tables, they were quite small and quite packed almost next to each other. In the case of a bigger party it is easier to merge them for sure, but for us there was little to none intimacy. When it comes to the pizza well, how could I put it. It was really good (maybe apart from the thick edges), proper Neapolitan, but I expected something more. I will come back for sure to check it again, but we hope this is not the last thing Germany has to say.
