About La Scala Fürth

Located at im Kulturforum, Würzburger Str. 2/2, 90762 Fürth, La Scala Fürth operates as an italienisch serving Fürth in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–11 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach La Scala Fürth on 0911 76607800; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is lascala-fuerth.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 857 reviews, which is a strong result for an italienisch in Fürth and suggests consistent service.

Fürth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Fürth, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

We booked a place beforehand on Saturday evening 19:30, but fun fact, we weren’t greeted the way as we actually booked it. We had to stand for like 5 minutes without anyone paying attention to us at the entrance and then 15 more minutes simply waiting for menus. Even though we actually were trying to get attention towards us. We waited for food for a really long time too. Pizza as at the picture was very nice. It was huge in a size, tasty sauce and nice filling! However curry pasta was THE worst dish I tried in my life. I honestly wanted to go wash that pasta in the water, that’s how bad it truly was. After giving a comment of not liking this pasta to the waiter she funnily reacted saying that it’s not her favourite either as many other customers. My question is: why do you keep serving it? Because obviously people want to try something new, but when everyone around knows it’s disgusting - it feels like a waste of products and money of customers. I got the drink with strawberries and watermelon which essentially weren’t even fresh strawberries but frozen and watermelon taste was present there through the sirup. Overall, it was my second time at this restaurant. And it was nothi

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the river from La Scala and the woman at the front desk recommended the restaurant and said it was very good. I am often skeptical of front desk suggestions wondering if there is a payment kick back. Fortunately, the suggestion was more than accurate and I’ve now gone back multiple times. The food is sublime, the ambiance is perfect, and the wait staff is exceptional. “JJ” is welcoming, humorous, multilingual and can suggest food & drink pairings to more than satisfy. The outdoor patio next to the river is scenic and romantic. Apparently a hidden gem in Furth.

The good: the restaurant has one of my favorites terraces/Biergarten in Fürth, quiet, surrounded by green and next to the river. The service is friendly and the kitchen has a big window/glass door that allows you to see the pizza making process and the boys there put a really cool show. The pizzas menu is good, not too extensive but with enough options. The pizza itself is nice, with a good crust and good ingredients ratio. The pasta is also ok. The price point I think is really good for the portions and good ingredients. I love that they offer gluten free pasta, I am not sure if is handled correctly to not be cross contaminated, but the offering is really nice. The alcohol free beverage selection is also pretty nice. The not so good: I don’t recommend the beef carpaccio, the Parmesan is not fresh, is pre-cut cheap cheese and the beef could be better. The mozzarella in the cáptese salad could also be better, but is standard. I recommend it for a nice lunch or dinner with nice pizza and a nice drink.

But it’s the best Italian weekly specials I’ve had in furth and I’ve had no issues with anything else here it was All fresh and very good!! Service was top shelf to no complaints at all!! It has a great location with long huge terrace on the river romantic and peaceful. overall no doubt a great place to come sit and eat especially in the warm months.
