Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 55064422. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I had my second appointment with Melanie yesterday, I am very happy to have found this great specialist! She is very attentive to detail and caring in her appointments, always friendly. Melanie immediately found my back problems and within a session I felt better, the painful feelings are gone and I feel light in my lower back. Melanie gave me important recommendations on how to set up my home office, and small exercises to do. I would like to say a big thank to Melanie for her excellent work and great professionalism. I would love to continue my treatment 👍🏻

Melanie did an amazing job of releasing months of tension in my neck and back. I can now move freely without pain and don’t feel I need to crack my neck constantly for short-lived relief. She was kind, gentle, and very skilled. I look forward to coming back.

I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience with Melanie. Apart from German, she also speaks English fluently that makes her a perfect candidate for non-German speakers like me. As soon as I entered the practice, I was met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel comfortable. The friendly environment, along with Melanie's welcoming demeanor, set the stage perfectly for a truly effective treatment experience. I felt significant improvement after the session, both physically and mentally. Melanie's professionalism and personable nature truly stand out. I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie and the place to anyone seeking exceptional osteopathic care with a personal touch.

First off, the practice is absolutely stunning, it is a great atmosphere to go for a treatment. I have just started receiving professional osteopathic care, and it has been an excellent experience so far. Melanie has been working on my neck and just general tension that I have been having. Her commitment to her work is evident in her compassionate approach, she shows genuine empathy for her patients. In the session already I can feel how the muscles are more relaxed. I am genuinely looking forward to continuing my sessions in the weeks. I highly recommend Melanie. She also speaks both English and German.
