About Patrick Broome Yoga

Yoga Studio

Patrick Broome Yoga is a yoga studio in München, Bayern. It is listed at Schellingstraße 63, 80799 München-Maxvorstadt, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

For beauty and wellness businesses, it is worth asking how long the treatment takes, whether the quoted price includes VAT and what the cancellation policy is. Popular slots fill quickly, so book early. German saunas and thermal baths have their own etiquette: most sauna areas are textile-free (no swimwear), you sit on your towel, you shower before every session, and the Aufguss, the attendant's steam ritual, runs to a posted timetable.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6:45 am–12:15 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Patrick Broome Yoga on 089 54806994; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, patrickbroome.de.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 66 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded yoga & pilates in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Me and my partner came to Munich for vacation and wanted to attend a morning class somewhere near our hotel. We found this yoga center and, since we had limited time, wanted to attend a drop-in session. The class level was listed as All Levels. The lady at the reception greeted us with a smile and said the class was full, but the instructor would be arriving shortly and we could ask her if she could possibly make room for two people. Immediately afterwards, the instructor who was going to teach the class arrived and refused us, saying the class was in German and that we would not benefit from, since we didn't speak German. I understood that she couldn't take us because the class was full, but I found it ridiculous that she wouldn't let us in because it was in German. Because yoga is universal. That's why in teacher training, they teach us the Sanskrit names of the poses. I've been doing yoga for 15 years, I've done yoga in many places around the world, I've attended trainings. This is the first time in my life I've experienced something ridiculous related to yoga.

Great studio. In over 10 years I have only experienced great classes and great teachers. Zero disappointments ever

A nice studio with a shop of various yoga equipment (pillows, training clothes, incense, books, minerals, etc). The building has a separate entrance and a waiting room. However, I find it rather small for the amount of people coming. Same I can say about the room for classes: it was quite packed. Also, the way the yoga room and access to changing rooms are constructed leads to queueing to take/return the equipment or to go to changing room or back. Another issue is that it felt as not enough air, even though one of the classes I was following was a very calm and relaxing one. I felt a bit like in the supermarket during all the queueing process (entrance, equipment, stairs to changing rooms). Honestly, I liked the central studio of Patrick Broome more, but I am afraid it will be also packed during the more popular hours.

Awesome place, best Yoga class I ever participated in. There are lots of tips and corrections. Never had so sore muscles in my life, but in a good way!

The way they treated me when a problem with a subscription occurred will keep me from going back, even though I love the classes: my subscription expired during the pandemia and they were not willing to find any workable solution for me. Answers to my requests came months late and without any understanding; they just want to keep the money without giving me the opportunity to go to classes.
