Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What a vibe it is here, love the huge space and crazy crowd. Amazing options to try out and ofcourse the castle outside adds to the vibe.

There is a good variety of restaurants and shops. Easy access to almost everywhere in Nürnberg. The bag storage facility here is quite large. However, there are also many homeless people.

Busy station at the heart of Nuremberg. Decorated well for Christmas. Very convenient as it’s walking distance from old town. A very good food court/marketplace with great vegetarian options.

Very busy at any point of the day. Neat and clean front complex with good facilities within the station. Rest everywhere is dirty and stinky. There are many food outlets, cafe and restaurants to choose from. Paid toilets are there, escalators and lifts are there for heavy luggage and old people. And of course the DB trains are always cancelled from here irrespective of the direction of travel. I have always faced problem here.

Good big station. Rating the station itself though, not the train punctuality. Nothing fancy inside, but enough to get around. Close by is a great restaurant, near the opera house
