München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Shelves are always empty! At this point it is a furniture store not a grocery market…

Employee was very rude. I had dropped something at checkout and he rudely asked if I would clean it up. I was more than willing but he wouldn’t show me where anything was (broom or garbage can) and was talking loudly so everyone could hear. Then he was so annoyed he said he would do it himself (kind of his job anyways but I digress). I, like many others, would have gladly done it if he wasn’t so rude and unhelpful.

It is really good grocery store for daily use. I really like the veggies and fruit. Also I found variety of salads and dry fruits which is really hard to find in other stores.

Very good value for some items: wine (if you find a good one), meat, non-foods, etc. You need to compare prices, because some things are more expensive here.

It's a big grocery store. The prices are low and the offer of goods is big. They offer fresh vegetables and also deep frozen food.
