Maybe the most sorted Asia store in Munich with truly great selection and fresh ( asian) produce. Very clean and ! with metal shopping carts.

If you live near the store or even a few stations away, this might be the best asian market for you. As an asian who cooks almost every day I was able to find everything I need here in this place. Sad thing about it was that the price is quite high compared to other asian markets. Other than that, the place is great! The staff are kind, the place is spacious, bright and somewhat organized by countries or food categories so it should be easy to find what you are looking for. Will definitely comeback if I only need a few things, but for big purchases I’d rather go somewhere with lower prices than this one.

Van Hoi Market is more or less a landmark in this area, being the second oldest Asian supermarket in Munich. It is the cleanest and most well-organized Asian supermarket I’ve ever been to and they have an outstanding collection of cute cutlery. I also enjoyed a lovely chat with the patient, kind and wise owner who helped me pack my bag and sent me off with a smile. I’m sure I’ll be back here many times!

I absolutely love this Asian market! It has a lot of different options: sauces, spices, rice, house accessories, vegetables, freezer food etc.. I even found powdered milk that I could not find anywhere else but here. Staff is helpful as well as respectful. It stays open until late (19h) which is great for a late night snack walk :)

Great one stop shop for Indian, Thai, Japanese, Pakistani, Korean food and kitchen articles. Prices are a little higher than indian or turkish shops. Clean and organized store.
