München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Terrible service from supervisor Alisa. I simply asked the price of an item under a “70% off” sign, and instead of helping, she rudely shouted “up to!” at me. No patience, no respect, no professionalism. In other countries Muji staff have always been polite and helpful—this is the first time I’ve been treated this way. A supervisor should stay calm and serve customers properly, not yell at them. Very disappointing.

Bought storage boxes and just put my soaps inside and it doesn’t fit into my cupboard. A day after the purchase I came to exchange the items for a different size. They insisted I pay first and return the other items After. The manager only took back one box, and complained the other one had oil stains, easily removable, and she doesn’t take it back. I tried to wipe them off with only a tissue and then it got mildly scratched. Very visibly bad quality, and after not even a day, they don’t take the item back. Awful customer service and not according to their return policy. I will not shop here again.

A fairly large, two-story Muji store with an escalator to reach the upper floor. The selection of pens and notebooks is quite good. Upstairs, there is a wide variety of both clothing and home products. There can occasionally be a line at the checkout, but it is generally calm and moves quickly.

This MUJI branch is amazing! Their huge lineup of high-quality minimalist goods includes clothing, stationery, furniture items, storage containers and organizers, hygiene products, prepackaged food, travel essentials, room fragrances, bedding and smaller tech items, among other things. The products tend to be designed in a very simplistic yet thoughtful way, rooted in Japanese aesthetics and sustainable practices. MUJI uses a lot of natural (and often ethically sourced) materials; they let the quality of the items speak for itself, which is why it can get a bit pricy to shop there. To me, their timelessly nondescript pieces are worth saving up for since they inspire a lifestyle leagues more intentional and mindful than today's hyper-consumerist fast fashion and fast furniture trend cycles. "Buy it nice or buy it twice" - the prices at MUJI are above-average; but so is the longevity of their products, in my experience. Fittingly, this store's sleek design feels quite elegant. There are two floors in total, which are always tidy and well-maintained. The airy layout and great use of vertical space make the huge array of items easy to navigate and peruse; it's quite calming to see all

Your good old Muji store with two floors in the city center, located in the Fünf Höfe shopping mall. I bought a few pump bottles and an organizer today. I have went to a few Muji stores around the world that has more variety of things on their shelves than this one, but this is not bad. Although I would prefer more varieties of their home and office products rather than more varieties of their clothing products. Muji always has high quality products that can last up to more than five years without breaking and yes I am speaking from experience. Anyways, it was a great shopping experience!
