Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 92700. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is muenchen-klinik.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating stands at 2.9 out of 5 from 973 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The 5 stars are for the doctor Martina Waldherr who treated me and for the kind lady who interviewed me and gave me pain medication. They were both professional, compassionate, and made me feel cared for during a very painful time. I truly appreciate their help and kindness. However, I would like to express my concern about the way I was treated by one of the employees in the emergency room. The staff member was aware that my German is not perfect. While I was trying to provide my personal details, she interrupted me and told the colleague who was interviewing me that I could speak German, which was not accurate. I had already explained that my German is limited, and this made it more difficult for me to communicate. I also informed her that I was experiencing severe back pain and could barely get out of bed because of it. Instead of showing understanding, she told me that it was “not an emergency” because I am still young and not life threatening, I found this comment dismissive and inappropriate. If my condition were not serious enough for me, I would not have come to the emergency room. She also compared my situation to her own by saying that she is older and also has

My husband went to the emergency room due to a fracture suspicion on his right foot. We spent 5 hours in total just for an X-ray and brace and in the end, we found out at home that they gave us the left brace instead of right. So I need to go back there again just to get the correct brace. We went there because it was the closest one, but I will definitely think twice before going again. Update: I went back to get the correct brace. I would still leave preferred not having to come back a second time, however, I will give one extra star because of the nice nurse in charge on the second time. Despite the queue and the emergency that happened, I was able to get the correct brace in 45min. I think that was very reasonable considering the circumstances.

I am very disappointed with the medical care I received at Bogenhausen Hospital Emergency Department. On the morning of 25 December, I had an accident resulting in a wrist fracture, a hairline fracture in my index finger, and an impact injury to my forehead due to a sudden fall. I arrived at the hospital around 11:00 AM and did not leave until approximately 4:30 PM. While the actual medical procedures took relatively less time, the majority of hours were spent waiting. I waited almost 30 minutes initially before being seen by a doctor, then waited again for the first X-ray, followed by another long wait for an orthopedic doctor. After reviewing the X-ray, the orthopedic doctor immediately suggested surgery without first considering or attempting a conventional approach such as manual manipulation and casting. Only after I explicitly refused surgery the doctor agree to apply a plaster cast. After yet another long wait, a nurse came to take me for the plaster application. When I requested that the doctor be present during the casting (which I believe is reasonable for a fracture requiring proper alignment), the nurse reacted rudely and with visible annoyance, said she did not have

I cant give 0 star otherwise I would have done so. I have never come to this clinic and was attended to quickly. I came in today and the emergency ward is literally empty apart from an old lady waiting to see her husband who waited 2 hours to no avail. A man comes in dressed in a suit and even though I have been here over an hour he gets called after not more than 5 minutes. I asked why and the attending said because of his emergency. I am wondering how she diagnosed that its okay to let me wait 100 hours. I dread coming here but sometimes you just have to. Double Standards everywhere but when it comes to my taxes no double standards

I recently had the experience of being admitted here and had to stay under supervision for a few days. Having been a handful of public hospitals around the world I would say the level of attention and care here is world class. Like any hospital you need to wait to take tests and so on but the hospital is clean, the equipment is good and the staff on our ward were amazing. Very helpful, friendly and attentive. The doctor on the ward was also very nice and answers any questions you have and ensured I was looked after. I walked out of there with no bills to pay, no added steps to take and after a thorough examination of my health. What more can one ask for ? Thank you to all the staff here for making me feel welcome and despite my poor German persisting with it and explaining to me in words I could understand. If I were sick And needed hospital care, I would come back here in a heartbeat :-)
