For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The food was absolutely authentic, the personnel there was also super nice and responsive to our requests and questions. The House made lemonade was absolutely fire! Would definitely go again.

The owners of the restaurant are really nice and friendly. We ordered beef noodle soup, which is indeed yummy. I will go again and will recommend to my friends.

Twe had the beef noodles and it was wonderful. The pasta was boiled on point and the meat very tender. We had to wait ~5 minutes for the food. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Can recommend 100%. Will come again.

Edit: came back the next day, food and service were great! The rice bowl is really great if you eat meat, 3 types of meat + broccoli+ rice. The tofu wanton and jasmine tea were also good > vege and custard bao. It's quite popular too at lunch time. We found and booked through TheFork but unfortunately they were closed on the public holiday.
