For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–3 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 51556868. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is max-noodles.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 4,367 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

It was a good experience. The broth was hearty and noodles were hand-made and plentiful (they offer an extra portion!). I would complain about the broth flavour being a bit lacking but honestly it does not matter because the price performance ratio is worthwhile.

If you are looking for authentic, elite-tier Asian beef noodles at Sendlinger Tor in Munich, Max’s Beef Noodles is an absolute masterpiece. As someone who deeply appreciates the culinary standards of traditional noodle houses in Asia, I am incredibly impressed by this gem. The quality here doesn’t just mimic Asian food; it easily rivals the best noodle shops you would find in Asia itself. The heartbeat of this restaurant is the kitchen. The chef is an absolute professional, and watching the high-quality dough-making process is a culinary performance in itself. The noodles are freshly made with incredible precision, resulting in the perfect texture and bite. The broth is rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It is clear that no shortcuts are taken here. What truly elevates this restaurant from great to unforgettable is the hospitality. The staff members are genuinely kind, warm, and highly attentive. It was a warm day, and without us even asking, the staff proactively brought over a fan and angled it directly at us to keep us comfortable. They make the dining experience seamless for everyone by providing English menu fully equipped with clear pictures, making ordering effort

Had a very lovely meal here with the mushroom-chicken noodles. Portion was good for the price of the area (very touristy area where döner costs 12 euros). Got a really nice aromatic tea for free. They are also very kind and have a no tip policy. The atmosphere really reminded me of the Mee I had back home in Southeast Asia, especially the style of the hand pulled noodles and the dish it was served in.The atmosphere really reminded me of the Mee I had back home in Southeast Asia, especially the style of the hand pulled noodles and the dish it was served in.

The hand-pulled noodles are yummy, though we had to share table with others, it's still a plseant experience. We will definitely come back👍❤️

We always travel from Nuremberg just to eat here, and it is absolutely worth it every single time. The noodles are phenomenal — especially the mala noodles, which are my personal favorite. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the beef is so tender, and honestly, these are the best noodles I’ve ever had in my life. The food is served really quickly, although there’s usually a line outside because the place is so popular. The only small downside is that there’s a middle aged man who sometimes rushes customers to finish eating and leave quickly, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, everything is perfect and I would highly recommend this place.
