About Mateo-Looi

Mateo-Looi is a sushi in Berlin, Berlin. It is listed at Reichsstraße 102, 14052 Berlin-Bezirk Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, which places it among the local businesses of Berlin that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as japanisches restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12–10 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 030 32598538. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, mlooi-sushi.com.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 623 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded sushi & japanisch in Berlin.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

While visiting Berlin from the U.S., I stumbled across this spot after a trip to the Olympic Stadium—and I’m really glad I did. The service was incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in. We originally planned to just grab a beer and relax for a bit, but the food looked too good to pass up. We ended up ordering some rolls and buns, and everything was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. If I’m ever back in Berlin, I’ll definitely be stopping in again!

Mlooi sushi pleasantly surprised us :) The service is far better than the norm in Berlin. On top of that- the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Definetely the best Japaneese restaurant in Berlin. Staff was friendly and polite with a nice sence of homour, atmosphere was quite and delighted. Food was fresh and good looking, taste was very good and the prices were reliable, perfect score 🙏 Origato

Had spicy fish soup today. The ingredients are, of course, very, very fresh, the broth was just so well-balanced, rich and enticingly satisfying I finished every last drop. There's nothing heavy or oily about it, the spices are not overwhelming, they work so well together to bring out the natural flavours of the fish. I just loved it 🥰

We were recommended to this restaurant and definitely satisfied with the recommendation! Had the gyoza and udon (mundo udon if I recall the name correctly) noodle soup. Fried gyoza was tasty. The udon noodle soup is the bomb! The beef were so juicy and tender! Unfortunately we couldn't order the sushi, was sold out. Would definitely come back for their sushi. See you guys again! Terima kasih 🥰
