We tried the dosa here and it was really good—crispy, flavorful, and definitely one of the better places for South Indian food. What made the experience even better was the owner. He was very friendly, spoke to us warmly, and happily adjusted the food based on our preferences, which we really appreciated. The restaurant has a unique ambience. It has taken over a former Afghan restaurant, so the furniture and décor still have that elegant Middle Eastern vibe. The colorful lighting and interiors make it a lovely place to dine. The owner also confidently recommended their biryani, saying it’s one of their best dishes. After this visit, I’m definitely planning to come back and give it a try. Pros: * Tasty and well-made dosa * Friendly and accommodating owner * Beautiful, unique interiors * Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere * Looking forward to trying their biryani Verdict: A great addition if you’re craving South Indian food. Wonderful Lunch today. Very fresh food. Excellent taste and not that heavy later. Chai is also so authentic. Though relatively new establishment, service is perfect and genuine. Happy to get this restaurant in Munich.

I ordered the Chicken Fry Piece Biryani as takeaway. The taste was actually very good, and I enjoyed the flavor. However, I was disappointed with the portion of chicken provided. The biryani contained a large amount of rice but only two small pieces of chicken, which didn’t feel justified for the price. The food itself was tasty, so my lower rating is based purely on the quantity and value for money. I hope the restaurant can improve the balance between the rice and chicken portions in the future

We visited Malgudi – Die Indische Küche and really enjoyed it. It’s very near Munich Hbf and easy to reach by public transport (around 10–14 minutes). We tried veg pakoda, karuvepaku chicken, Hyderabad chicken biryani, and chicken tikka masala. Everything was delicious, especially the karuvepaku chicken and biryani. Great food, good location, and highly recommended if you want authentic Indian cuisine in Munich.

Tried and loved the vegetarian food here. Kadai paneer, butter naan, veg biryani, aloo bajji were too good with balanced flavours and good portion. Apricot delight and mango lassi were top notch. I have tried multiple Indian restaurants in Munich, and I rate it the top most now.
