For beauty and wellness businesses, it is worth asking how long the treatment takes, whether the quoted price includes VAT and what the cancellation policy is. Popular slots fill quickly, so book early. German saunas and thermal baths have their own etiquette: most sauna areas are textile-free (no swimwear), you sit on your towel, you shower before every session, and the Aufguss, the attendant's steam ritual, runs to a posted timetable.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Mahana Thai Massage on 089 81888662; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is mahana-thai-massage.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I made the appointment due to all those great reviews but honestly I have no idea where they all come from. I made the appointment over the email which was ok and went smoothly. The massage however was very DISAPPOINTING! I picked 1hour whole body oil massage which ended up being her only spreading the oil all over my body, no pressure, no technique, no massaging, nothing. She also answered the phone during my massage which I find unacceptable and engaged in a conversation with a customer who has entered the studio. She only some what massaged my traps and that was it…. for 48€! I felt robbed! I have had a thai massage before for way less money so I know which tecniques should be used and what to expect out of it. I left feeling really upset and will not be coming back. I therefore cannot recommend the place, what is more, I would suggest you avoid it and spend you money somewhere else.

Today we visited this spa center with my husband. We chose a 1-hour Thai full body oil massage. It was really great, super experience! We will definitely come here again.
