Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom - JDV by Hyatt

Location is great close to the Dom and Central Station. But there was black mould throughout the shower in the bathroom, as well as yellow staining on the floor of the bathroom. It’s clear the bathrooms hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while as when I wiped the black mould it would wash away. As a 4 star hotel I would expect cleanliness to be a minimum.

The thing that drives me nuts here is the placement of the light switches. Who though its a good idea to place them where my head or arm will constantly turn the lights on when I accidentally hit them while sleeping? It not even just for the reading lights, it's for pretty much all the room lights. Hotel is okay, for what it is I think a bit overpriced, but depends on what deal you get. Gym doesn't have AC, Pool is too busy too enjoy. Rooms are nice, only TV could be more modern and the mini fridge doesn't really cool.

This is a very nice review for the staff of Lindner Hotel at Cologne am Dom! For the people at front desk, also at night, those from breakfast (Hichem & Pamela) who made the morning possible - taylored with vitamines, personalized eggs for my wife who was in the room with our sick daughter - and the cleaning staff who helped us swiftly and made sure we had everything! You made sure our stay was more optimal and worry-free considering the circumstances. Thank you & best 2025-26 wishes! Ivo & co
