For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–3 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Kokono Restaurant Würzburg on 0931 46764388; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is kokono-restaurant.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Würzburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Würzburg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Honestly I'm sad to say the food was not the best. Some of the fish was too fishy, in a way when fish isn't the freshest anymore. I can't recommend the pistachio dessert because it tasted quite artificial. The looks of the food however was good. It looked super appetising and cute. Service wasn't good but also not bad. Nothing to really critique. Sadly the experience was just not worth it. I paid 40 EUR and it really was just not worth it.

The restaurant has a nice, welcoming vibe — a cozy spot that just needs more guests. The staff was nice and pretty attentive, which made for a nice dining experience. That said, the food was a bit of a letdown. I wasn't super impressed with the meal overall. The rolls were fried too long and too thick, so they felt heavyk. The soup was also a bit disappointing. It was flavorless and lacked depth. The tea, though, was a real treat. It was .really enjoyable, well-brewed, and soothing — the perfect complement to the setting. The visit was a bit of a rollercoaster, but the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. If they just tweaked the menu a bit, this place could be amazing.

Amazing food, great service and beautiful interior for a great dinner. I got the clay pot beef - the beef was medium rare on a pot dish which is not so common. The taste of the meat was absolutely wonderful and the juices mixed in the vegetables enriched the experience. For the vegetarian dish we had the curry which was also wonderful and not too overpowering to lose the flavour from the salad and vegetables. We recommend the side dishes as they are also very tasty, plus the home made lemonades are great.

I came to the restaurant yesterday evening with my girlfriend, the restaurant itself was looking very appealing so we decided to take a table. Non really sure on what we wanted to try we went for the starters mix for two (22€ something), when it arrived in the plates we found 4 gyoza (dumplings with greens), another sort of dumpling with greens inside (cutted in half), 2 souces, 2 tempura shrimps (i ate tempura before, and that was defenetely too fried) and a lot of Edamame beans (see the picture). Nothing in that plate had any kind of flavour aside from the tempura, the only way to get some taste from those dishes was using the chilli-sour souce, even the other sauce was tasteless. If i'm spending 22 euros for a starter i'm expecting to be able to feel some flavour at least, not considering the fact that 95% there was veggies based, super cheap in taste and quantity. Then we went for a sushi plate for around 60 euros, the one that is supposed to be ate by 3 persons (we were really hungry) What we found was disappointing. The nigiri sushi was completly bad, too much rice and a small part of fish. In general the fish was poor in every sushi piece, i'm a very good sushi enjoyer and i

In my honest opinion the food tasted great and the ambient is also superb. The tables are a bit on a tight side but doable. The crew worked fast and friendly. The crew had to work fast due to the amount of customer that was there. Thank you for a great expirience and will be back soon.
