Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 6 pm–12 am. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0152 53636487. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is klimentis.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 382 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded griechisch, türkisch & mediterran in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Absolutely worth a visit. Great food and amazing service. Went with a large group and it was very well organized. I highly recommend this place.

The food was very good — a solid 4/5. The pumpkin soup was especially tasty. We didn’t go for dessert, and the restaurant kindly replaced it with a cheese dish instead, which showed great flexibility. The waiter was also very friendly. Unfortunately, there were some issues that affected the overall experience. - The biggest problem was the waiting time! After more than 2 hours and 15 minutes, we had received only three dishes. The gaps between courses were too long — it would help if the staff checked whether guests are ready for the next course. - The staff seemed quite stressed, which suggested a lack of coordination or management oversight. - Service details need more attention: we were asked twice about the water we wanted, but our glasses were refilled only once I guess. The menu was brought twice as well. At the start, the staff took our coats and umbrella, but it took some time at the end to find the right items. - When it came to paying, we were asked to hand over our bank card which is not convenient for me, so had to pay with phone next to the entrance. Overall, the food and friendliness made a good impression, but the service timing and organization definitely need

I cannot say enough good things about Klimenti‘s but I’ll say a few. For those who want the bottom line up front, if you are in Au-Haidhausen, make sure you visit for an amazing food and hospitality experience! I would recommend this restaurant as a date night spot, a place to celebrate, or any excuse to enjoy wonderfully crafted food. The Klimenti‘s restaurant, its food, and most importantly its staff are absolutely wonderful. The Klimenti husband and wife team are excellent, gracious hosts - I felt well taken care of throughout the evening and it was easy to see that they make this hospitality a priority for all their guests and a central pillar of their restaurant. The recommendations were perfect, both in terms of the dishes and wine pairings. The food was absolutely fantastic - I had the Guinea Fowl/Perlhuhn Supreme. I am going to be thinking about this dish for weeks - the flavor of the feta date stuffing was over the top, the fowl was perfectly juicy and tender, the truffle mashed potatoes might be the best I’ve ever had, and the accompanying sauces tied the dish together so nicely. Dessert of chocolate soufflé paired with a nice red dessert wine was superb. The restaurant

It was the last night of the holiday, we had been eyeing off Klimenti’s from our Hotel each day and decided to give it a try. It was a nice night outside, so most of the diners on the night we were there sat outside. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well, during the night there was a rhythm to the service: nothing seemed rushed, and everything came out in good time. The kitchen and floor team obviously know their craft. For wines we tried the Rosé Klimenti’s, the Grauburgunder, and the Syrah Impossible. Three little amuse-bouche arrived, just some simple watermelon and feta with a hint of dressing. I didn’t mind the flavours, but I do like places that do something like this, as it feels like a bonus and doesn’t seem like a hard way to welcome diners and make them feel like they are getting something for free and are in for something special. We were hungry, but not super hungry and so went straight for mains. We ordered: Beef Tenderloin - it was tender, lean, cooked to order and had a good sear. We got the Lamb Rump, the balance of herbs was good, and the lamb was very well cooked. We also got the Sea Bream & Prawns - this was also cooked well - on the whole

Ribeye and tenderloin were seared to medium-rare perfection — rich, tender, and full of flavor. Crème brûlée was silky with a perfect caramelized top. Paired with a smooth, top-shelf tequila. Service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.
