We were here with #Littlefeet and were really satisfied. Why? Because the staff at the reception desk—thanks, Ms. S.—and the doctors were all friendly and attentive. Sure, it is a children's hospital, after all. Okay, but you immediately notice the stress and understaffing, which certainly don't make the doctors' and staff's jobs any easier. Of course you need time. Hospital stays always take a while. But things went reasonably well for us, and we took a lot of it in stride. In the end, we were back outside after about three hours and glad we’d gone there. Meanwhile, #Littlefeet is doing better, even though he’s not back to 100% yet. But that will come in time. And hey, in Germany there are public health insurance patients and private patients. We fall into the former category and haven’t noticed any preferential treatment or discrimination. It’s more about the severity of the injury… after all, the term “triage room” isn’t used for no reason. Finally, a tip: Please don’t ring the bell twice in a row, because then the doctors will think there’s a life-or-death situation outside the triage room. Have no idea why reviews are so bad. Been here 3 times with my daughter- and we always got help, of course waiting time depends on the urgency and severity of the condition- once we waited 2 hours and once we were taken the same minute we entered because it was really urgent. People working here are amazing and super friendly. Super grateful for their job.

If you are thinking of bringing your most precious thing in the whole world in this hospital. Please dont. I am waiting with my 1 year old daughter who has a very high fever - 40.2!!! And we are waiting for almost 5 hours now and nobody cares from the personal. I dont know why i came here...

We first experienced this place arriving by ambulance with a medical emergency. My daughter received immediate care and attention. The emergency department had iPads to keep her distracted while waiting for things to be arranged. She was able to go into surgery early the next morning. Despite how (clearly) busy the staff is they are always friendly and helpful, they take the time to discuss all the issues and are happy to answer any questions you have – in English. We have been back for many follow-up visits since. My daughter is never anxious to go back there. The building is nothing very much fancy, but it's clean. The hospital is easily reached by public transport. Parking by car can be tricky as only street parking is available and it's very crowded, but I have so far always managed to find a (paid via app) space within 300m, just keep some extra minutes for it.

I don’t like University hospitals. They always get students to do the regular doctor’s jobs. We had this one doctor who had to write everything and had to ask for the information over and over again. She also had to draw blood from both my child’s in-step and she pulled on them really hard like she’s doing it on a dog in vet clinic. She was nice though. But this is the thing about going to school hospitals. They were however thorough. They did all the necessary steps to put our mind at ease as parents. It took us more than 7 hours before all tests were finished. I am giving this hospital a 4 because one night shift doctor who was really empathetic explained to us how it all goes and the possibilities why our child is feeling some pain. She was very reassuring. In general, it’s a better hospital compared to Klinikum Harlaching children’s hospital. It’a well lighted and looks cleaner. About amenities, they have multiple changing spots and play room in waiting areas. The toilet was clean too and easily accessible. BUT the wait time is extremely long. Takes hours.
