I have mixed feelings, hotel seems to be clean although on the reception during checkout I am pretty sure I've seen a fully grown bed bug. I am only 98% sure tho. Other aspects were great. Welness with a room.

I’m from Erlangen but live abroad now, and Hotel Luise has been around for as long as I can remember. Sure, some of the rooms might feel a bit outdated / 90s style - but that doesn’t subtract from the team’s level of attention, care and focus on sustainability that is palpable everywhere. Be it water glasses made of recycled wine bottles, an invisible starry sky painted on the ceiling, or little notes telling you that the tap water is excellent quality, what the backstory of that garden sculpture is, or that they’re aware of and working on modernising said 90s style within their means. Add to that touches like the sauna, rooftop, breakfast garden, even an in-house cleaning team (most hotels outsource that these days) and you know that you’re staying in a place that is in good hands.

Very nice hotel with friendly service, clean rooms and spa. It is a 10-15 minutes walk to the center but located in a very quiet area of town.

Hotel Luise is like a fine vine, very classic. Nice rooms with an overall warm atmosphere. The wellness area is a good place to recover after a hard day and the morning breakfast buffet is full of different german food. Especially the Entrance night-shift with Luis and Benedikt is always a highlight. They are very professional and friendly, a must keep! in this Hotel.
