Had a great stay at Hotel Klassik Berlin. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent for exploring Berlin with many restaurants, cafés, and public transport nearby. Everything went smoothly, and we had no issues during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short trip to Berlin.

What an enormous disappointment this hotel was. I’ve stayed here before, but it has seriously gone downhill (despite the room renovations). The hygiene was far below standard: the blankets were yellow and clearly not clean. There was something on the curtains that looked like old mucus — honestly disgusting. The carpet had dried chewing gum on it, and the walls were covered in stains. On top of that, our privacy was not respected at all. Even though we clearly indicated on the door that we did not want housekeeping, staff still walked in anyway (multiple times). There were also scaffolding structures with a huge advertising banner in front of the hotel, which was not mentioned anywhere in advance. Because of this, we had absolutely no view from our room, which was very disappointing. According to locals, this has been there for months (something that should have been communicated at the time of booking, in my opinion). As a small compensation, we were given a late check-out, but this doesn’t come close to making up for the poor experience. I will definitely not be coming back here.

The hotel is correct, but there are done details that show it needs more attention to details, like the breakfast, or the bed/linen. I noticed it's under renovation and I hope it improves, because the team was friendly and the location is good.

The hotel was definitely not extra clean, and you could tell it was a bit worn in places. On the other hand, the location was quite good and the price was relatively reasonable for what you get, which partly made up for the shortcomings. Overall, it was acceptable for a short stay, but nothing special.
