I enjoyed my stay at the Kastanienhof Hotel. The staff was helpful & they let me check in early. The rooms are small but have modern furnishings and they are very clean. I booked a "comfort" room, which faces the inside courtyard, so there was no noise from the street traffic or the trams. Very good selection at the breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean room with an amazing breakfast buffet. A great restaurant is incorporated with the hotel and Maria who works in the restaurant made us feel right at home. We love this place and definitely recommend it.

My family stayed in two rooms in July 2026, and we cannot say enough good things about the location, the facilities, and the staff. The rooms were clean, in good repair and had nice amenities. The staff was helpful when we arrived and when we had questions. The location is close enough to public transportation that you can access the rest of Berlin. And there are some cafes and stores nearby. The neighborhood seems very safe and interesting.

It’s a lovely hotel. Has old world charm. The location is excellent for easy access to Transportation, restaurants and a really good supermarket. The beds were comfortable. We had a courtyard facing room so it was very quiet. Water pressure was fantastic and there was tons of hot water. We seem to be there at a pretty expensive week so at $250 a night it was a little bit smaller than I would’ve expected. We didn’t eat there, but there were so many great restaurants and cafés in the area. We had lots of choices.
