Würzburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Würzburg, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

This is a no frill budget hotel. The rooms are decent size but they feel a bit dated. But they are clean. I think they are missing a kettle or a coffee machine. Other than that the staff were very nice and helpful. It has a parking nearby so it’s convenient if u drive. The main attractions are within walking distance. So if u are looking for something decent and not hard on the wallet this is a good option

Close walk to the highlights in town which is the only reason I gave the location 3 stars. The parking here is non-existent. Just finding a spot to offload your bags is quite a challenge as the street is very busy. You have to park in a multilevel parking garage across the street and down a bit. Not cheap to park there so factor that into your price. The room had no AC and the fan was barely adequate so the room was stuffy and hot. I am sure it would be better in cooler weather. That said, it was clean and felt safe, albeit a bit dated. The staff were average helpful. My one complaint was that we were charged 5 Euros for two cups of mediocre coffee in the morning.
