Hertz Rückgabegarage

Process was fast. However be forwarned our experience may both reflect all cars. The manual car we had was very hard to get to go in reverse and could take several minutes to get it to go. This isnt a situation of not knowing how to operate one. Also upon return be advised some locations dont have proper signs/directions for drop off so be extra early.

On google maps, there's another car return places nearby, I went to the wrong drop off place at Elisenhof, which caused me arriving late (< 1h) and ran the tan a little lower (< 10km) than full. As I was searching around to return the car and payed 4 euros to get out of the garage. After I returned the car correctly, it charged me an extra day rent fee as I couldn't arrive within 29 mins at the promising time, also a full tank charging (68 euros) even with a very little lower than full. It's robbing. Give it 1 star, as I couldn't give a minus one.

Hard to find but lady was super nice. We were running late and didn't have time to fill up, so gave us the address of the gas station nearby and told us to go refill really quick!

TOURISTS BEWARE - First we signed up for a small mini van - but it was substituted for a subcompact SUV. We received the car in a dimly lit underground garage - we found obvious large scratches along the length of the passenger side and decided to have the garage attendant document those. The car was full of cigarettes and poorly vacuumed and poorly washed. When we returned the care and the attendant in Munich who rubbed the car with her own spit and used a flash light since the lighting was so poor in the garage to inspect the car. Once she found a small scratch on the hub cap she stated we damaged the car and stopped her inspection. I confronted her and it took her several seconds and use of her flashlight to refind the scratch. We were charged 217 Euros. The car had 51,000 KM on it - so not a new car. TOURISTS BEWARE. I have rented cars for over 20 years this is my first time I was treated in such a way.

Great drop off open 24 hours so you can drop a car back quite late. Easy location however losses 1 star due to limited drop of parking spaces meaning u have to just park anywhere . But got a nice car for a standard rental
