München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Robert Mutschler during our visit to Germany. My husband fell quite ill during vacation and at a loss on how to get him help in a country where I did not speak the language I reached out to this praxis. Despite not speaking German, the attendant was very nice and provided us with a timely appointment. Doctor speaks fluent English which was very helpful. He run labs and testing right at his practice and we were able to get my husband medicine in a timely manner. Doctor himself followed up with us after and provided results of tests. Kept communication with us too for follow up despite us leaving the city to go to our next stop on the trip. Office staff was very nice. I highly recommend their services.

Very friendly praxis, doctor and nurse speak English, receptionist speak only German. Doctors are very professional and compassionate, I feel I am in good hands every time when I go there. Easy way of getting appointments with option of online booking and no need to wait on a phone line to get your appointment like in some other cases. If you need continuous prescriptions they upload e-prescription to your health insurance card, without need to go to the praxis. I can only recommend!

I am a regular at this place. In most cases they were really nice and good. But I had one terrible experience too. I was in serious pain in my neck area. I went to the doc to ask if they could refer me to a physiotherapist. The doctor wouldn’t do it. He gave me painkiller and said wait the whole weekend and see if it gets better. I already had a paracetamol but his point was that it wasn’t a pain killer and I need to try proper pain killer. At one point he said none of the physios are waiting for me on Friday or it is not a pizza place where I could order things. All of this is true, but there is a way of saying. I wasn’t going to his place if I wasn’t in pain. What is the point of saying that it wasn’t a pizza place. If I was insisting on getting a physiotherapist recommendation it was because I was in pain and I wanted someone to help. Instead of consolation, saying its not a pizza place! Again, this is one of many visits I have had. Generally its good, but this one doctor was just not good.

Dr. Mutschler is a very understanding, mature and compassionate doctor. He really takes out time to understand your situation rather than simply hurrying to conclusions. I moved to Munich two years ago, although, I can speak German, I prefer talking in English for medical matters and Dr. Mutschler has always been very open and welcoming about it.
