Doctor Simonis is good but wait times are horrible and absolutely unacceptable at times. Waiting for 1-2 hours is often experienced by me in visits even with emergency appointment. Today the appointment was at at 1.30 PM, I came at 1 PM and got to see the doctor till 3:15 PM. Sincerely hope that practice looks at this angle and brings it under control.

I came in without an appointment and was quickly attended. Dr. Simonis took care of my needs in a really pleasant manner and spoke English flawlessly. The whole staff was very kind as well.

My recent visit to the office was notably ruined by the unaccommodating demeanor of the receptionist. Not only was she disrespectful through her "annoyed" facial expressions, and the lack of polite acknowledgment, she denied my insurance, explaining that "it is not accepted." I can assure you that my private insurance is acceptable and recognized in Germany. Furthermore, I have used my private insurance for a multitude of doctor/dentist related appointments previously without any complications. Her lack of knowledge and unwillingness to accommodate were glaringly apparent, leading to her refusal to seek a solution. In the end, she opted for the easiest route – asking me to leave – instead of acknowledging the issue and making an effort to find a simple resolution.

Great Doctor! The first time in a long time that I felt really heard as a patient in relation to my symptoms. I Feel really happy as a patient in his Praxis. Plus, I agree with other reviews, the waiting may be long, but really good medical attention takes time...the important thing is a good diagnosis, not a rushed one.

I'm so lucky as an American to experience health care in this country and especially to have a wonderful doctor like Dr. Simonis. I see a lot of complaints about waiting to see him on here and I'm here to say he's worth the wait because good people are always in demand. Your health is one of the most important things in your life and you don't want to trust just anyone to it. Dr. Simonis takes his time with his patients and you never feel hurried with him like you're at a cattle processing factory. He took the time to flip through three medical textbooks looking for a diagram to show me why I had the symptoms I had. When that didn't work, he looked it up on the computer. Dr. Simonis is kind, gentle, and most importantly, caring. Also, he speaks English perfectly for you expats out there looking for a doctor. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Simonis as your GP.
