Schluss mit grüner Farbe auf rostigem Stahl: Ab dem 27. September 2026 setzt die EU mit der neuen EmpCo-Richtlinie billigen Greenwashing-Versprechen ein Ende. Während substanzlose PR-Botschaften und das inflationäre Gerede von der Klimaneutralität zunehmend an Glaubwürdigkeit verlieren, zeigt ein oberösterreichischer Öko-Pionier, wie konsequente Haltung in wirtschaftlichen Erfolg übersetzt werden kann: Grüne Erde. Für meinen Blog A SPECIAL COMPANY habe ich den Store am Münchner Viktualienmarkt besucht – und war positiv überrascht. Auf zwei Etagen verbindet Grüne Erde Nachhaltigkeit mit traditioneller Handwerkskunst. Vollholzmöbel, Schlafprodukte, Heimtextilien, Wohnaccessoires, Naturkosmetik und ökologische Bekleidung erzählen von Materialien, Herkunft und Qualität statt von kurzlebigen Saisontrends. Besonders überzeugt hat mich das Design: naturbelassen, reduziert und zeitgemäß – ein wohltuender Gegenentwurf zur Wegwerfästhetik à la IKEA. T-Shirts ab 50 € oder Schränke ab 5.000 € richten sich nicht an den Massenmarkt. Teuer? Vielleicht. Grüne Erde - this is a store with own productions following sustainability and social fairness along the supply chain. The quality of products is very good and I do have some beloved pieces in my flat. Staring from matrices es and covers for blanket and cushions to room perfumes. If you think the prices would be to expensive - this is sometimes also my first reaction but I also want to be payed fair for my work. And in that moments I think how many steps did this product needed to go till it is in the shop and how may people were involved and knowing the quality and the concept the prices are really ok.

Ich hatte das hauseigene Magazin nach Hause geschickt bekommen und wollte mir eine Bettwäsche haptisch anschauen, doch diese war noch nicht da. Ist aber bestellt, sagte mir die Verkäuferin. Der Laden hat so eine tolle Atmosphäre, dass man hier gerne sich aufhält. Unbedingt kaufen muss man ja nichts. Bilder sind übrigens nur aus der ersten Etage.

Sehr enttäuscht. There are two things this store should guarantee: quality of the products and good service. It's the second time we buy high-quality bedsheets and pillow cases (I'm sure I don't have to tell you that they are not cheap). This time, they didn't have two identical sets of bedsheets available, so I bought one and the staff offered to deliver the second one to my home address. Problems: 1) The store is not fully stocked, and they can't guarantee delivery in 2-3 days. 2) I asked that they register me as a customer, and they didn't, they used my partners' customer information instead. 3) I asked them NOT to send an email to confirm the order because it was a surprise gift, and they delivered an email anyway. 4) I got charged delivery costs for a package, when I could have easily picked up the package at the store. 5) When I called to complain, they said that I should have informed myself about the delivery costs in the brochure. A tip for the store owner: If this store offered a better service, I would probably be there more often. It's a pitty that I stop buying at Grüne Erde.

Great products but totally let down by the staff. The lady had no sales technique, couln’t operate the credit card machine and failed to complete the tax free form which caused no refund at the airport. Also, a friendly smile would go a long way.
