About GHOTEL hotel & living Würzburg

Located at Schweinfurter Str. 3, 97080 Würzburg-Altstadt, GHOTEL hotel & living Würzburg operates as a hotel serving Würzburg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 2,566 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for hotels in Würzburg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

Würzburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Overall I must say that I am very disappointed from this hotel. No personality, no satisfaction service, unflexibel when asking for favors. Their sustainability concept creates a distance to their guests. It feels like their are just want to save money. Maybe that’s why the AC did not work ? BUT big shoutout to the kitchen and breakfast/lunch service staff. Great food !!

Everything is good. The location is convenient - around 10 minutes to the central station. The rooms were clean, but the shower wasn't convenient - without the door. The Double bed isn't enough but for family with a child, I recommend a separate bed for the child.

In total it is a good stay concerning value for money. The rooms are okay, with some odd design choices like focus on indirect lighting and a lightbulb without any cover as a bed light - better don't look at it directly. The close proximity to the city is good and the intercontinental breakfast ist also decent and offers reasonable choice. For the underground parking garage - really tight parking spots. You will have fun.

The location is excellent. Our rooms were clean. That's all. The check-in experience was poor: spent more then 20 minutes to do self-check-in. Have to pay for unwanted and unused services. The parking spaces are too narrow, had a big wish to refund it. But as soon as you came in to garage you cannot get out without payment, even you have not used it. My sons did not get own beds, because had a mis-communication and lack of clarity from messages because of bad hotel reservation service integration with booking service.

Our room was nice and clean; the size of the room was probably not that small, but the shape of the hotel (an ellipse) made the room very "elongated" and felt a bit small. Location is a 5 -10 minute walk away from the train station and "city center" in an industrial area without much of a nightlife. Breakfast was good, but I would not say it was 18 EUR good (witch is what they charged us per person).
