About Fuyuan
Fuyuan is a chinesisch in München, Bayern. It is listed at Augustenstraße 21, 80333 München-Maxvorstadt, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–3 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 59083665. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 1,724 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinesisch in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Nice Chinese restaurant in the city center. The food was good but due to the menu being a bit vague and the staff not speaking any English my order was not what I expected. The sichuan special had some interesting flavors, but the stew was filled with dried whole pepper corns and chilies that were unpleasant to eat. On the other hand, the homemade noodles were very tasty!

Decent food if you know what to order. Best variety of dim sum in central munich. Top dish is the stir fried beef rice noodles (off menu) - great wok hei, well-seasoned, the only pity is the tiny pieces of beef. Could be elevated with better cuts. Rice noodle rolls: texture is nice, but filling can be improved: be more generous with char siew, and the dough fritters need to be fresher/softer (last few times were overfried/too hard). Siew mai were bouncy, umami, good succulent size. Soup dumplings were ok, not much soup but tasty if you think of them as simple juicy dumplings rather than xiao long bao.

We were in Munich and googled for a Chinese food nearby as we were craving for it after some time in Croatia. Google led us to Fuyuan, a Chinese restaurant within 10 mins walking distance to our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to see the place being almost packed to the brim. Luckily, there was one single table available for us. We ordered egg fried rice, stir fry cabbage, egg drop soup and their sweet and sour pork. All were delicious except for the egg drop soup. Felt that it was too starchy. The pork had a nice crunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered some German beer or course. We went back again to this place 2 nights later and ordered their Peking duck. I am not sure why but the photos taken at this place had a blue tinge on both nights. It could be the lighting in the restaurant. Food was nice, service was friendly and efficient and pricing was reasonable.

Fuyuan offer authentic Chinese food in Munich at reasonable prices. The menu includes starters, mains, sides and desserts from several regions in China; it also includes dim sum. Never tried dim sum? It can be thought of as small dishes that can be shared, which is excellent for those who want to try as much as possible. While the majority of menu items include meat or seafood, there some vegetarian options available. Service is prompt and friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating (a few tables on the sidewalk). Highly recommend this Chinese restaurant! Added bonus, it is within short walking distance from Munich’s main train station.

Known for its pecking duck and dim sum, this place offers tasty food with generous portions and good prices. Cooking the pecking duck takes time, do allocate some time for it if you intend on ordering it. The appetizers are delicious with a large variety. The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant is best enjoyed in groups to order multiple dishes and share them together to sample a wide selection of food. Reservation is a plus as the place gets busy, especially on weekends.
