I visited Stadtbad Lichtenberg for a weekend art market and it was such a special experience. The building itself is very historic, and seeing local art inside this old bathhouse just makes it feel even more unique, despite the long queue. No tickets required on the date of weekend market.

It was nice to be there for the first time, to find out it was an old and very popular swimming pool in Berlin Lichtenberg. It wasn’t not only the cinetic light and generally the good organised event but a piece of the history that fascinated me there.

I visited this former public pool, turned into an cultural venue, for the art exhibition AMBILIGHT - Stadtbad reloaded. With about a 100+ digital animation artworks, beautifully displayed in this old public pool, this exhibition invite the viewer to move around and explore all the rooms of this old building. The contrast between the art and the actual aged building is beautifully. It will take you a good 60-90 minutes minimum to explore everything. Definitely worth the visite.

Digital art presented in a former municipal swimming pool. An ingeniously arranged exhibition, interesting art and a building with an amazing, dark atmosphere. Great idea, very interesting place.

Amazing led light show in the big pool of the Altes Stadtbad, with chill music, very calming and beautiful. Additionally many interesting artistic video loops are shown across the other halls, with a focus on water. It's a great initiative to showcase art and this old place full of history. We visited in the evening, when it was dark outside, and we found it spectacular.
