Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

If you want to experience the authentic, alternative spirit of old Berlin, this hidden courtyard is the absolute best place. It has an incredible underground vibe with cozy cafes, independent galleries, and walls completely covered in stunning street art. It is a fantastic spot for photography and a perfect escape from the modern, commercialized parts of the city. Highly recommended!

Very charming place and definitely worth a visit. Many places to sit and chill and enjoy art galleries. Check the event calendar and enjoy music too! Close to the markt to get some breakfast too. I rated one star less because it has been commercialised a bit. The galleries are expensive.

I feel like this is a must see. All in one location you have this colorful alley with Otto Weidt's Workshop (compact and fascinating), Anne Frank Center, and just nearby the Missing House Memorial. There is a coffee shop in the vicinity and this is only a short walkable distance from Hackescher Market and walkable to the TV tower area. Bonus tip if you like breakfast- in Hackescher Market you will find Breggs. Hearty breakfast sandwiches and tots to start your day. Tickets are not needed but I am sure a walking tour would provide so much more information than simply wandering in.

Pretty nice place. I love spots that are covered in stickers and feel a bit messy or not overly polished, so this was very much my thing. There are a couple of museums you can check out, you can grab a drink, or even catch a movie. And yes, lots of stickers and graffiti everywhere.

The place is a modern cultural center. By the way, there are a million of them in Budapest, but they call it ruin pubs. It has a vibe worth checking out the exhibitions. The 4 stars are only because an uber trendy journalist came and asked why we were taking photos. Although this is not prohibited anywhere in the outskirts, but he didn't like it. He thought anyone cared about what he said.
