Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

A smart hotel in Mitte. Quiet location and good value for money. By the way.. it’s not far from the Tempodrom music hall.. which was the reason for our stay. Nice and clean rooms and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was above standard. Parking in the underground garage can be a bit challenging, especially with a larger car.

Nice stay at Hotel fjord hotel berlin. The location is near the center of Berlin, easy access to ubahn and just 10-15 minute walk to Potzdamer Platz. Family room was clean but a bit to the smaller size and very warm (but we did visit during a heat wave and there was a fan). The sofa bed was a bit worn out and squeaky. We hoped that we could watch a movie on Netflix together on the TV, but there was not access to any streaming on the TV. Only TV channels with synchronised German voice over. The breakfast was a bit expensive (21 € per person) but very tasteful. We reserved a parking space at the Hotel for 19 € per day. Over all nice value for Money.

I loved my stay at Hotel fjord hotel berlin. The pillows on the bed were incredibly comfy and made for a wonderfully restful night of sleep. I would happily stay here again. But the room was very warm in the Berlin sunshine! And the elevator being out of action meant that I was ever warmer when I reached my room on the 6th floor!

The room was spotless and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Mornings were a highlight: a lovely breakfast served in a cozy, inviting atmosphere that made starting the day feel special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay with genuine hospitality.
