One of the best nightclubs in Cologne. The club features multible stages/ room, one of them is outdoors. They have no photo/video policy. The toilets are clean and convenient. There's an empanadas truck there and it's mouthwatering.

I’ve visited fi in Cologne several times, and each visit left me conflicted. On paper, this venue has everything: one of the best sound systems in Cologne, a brand-new build with significant investment, impressive bookings including Berghain OGs, and a strict no-camera policy at every event. It’s the kind of setup that should, without question, deserve a five-star rating. And yet, every time I leave with a sense of discomfort. I’ve seen gigs from artists like Dr. Rubinstein and Supergloss end with an almost empty dance floor. Even DVS1 couldn't sell out. The crowd often feels off — people showing up in outfits that look like they were picked out by their moms, not even making the minimal effort to dress up or down for the night. The front row is often occupied by people who neither dance nor engage; instead, they just stand there scrolling on their phones. It's hard not to compare it to Open Ground in Wuppertal, which opened around the same time and has been thriving. The difference? Open Ground has soul. It has a community. It’s building something. Sadly, fi feels like it’s missing that heart. A beautiful shell without a spirit. Truly disappointing.

When I was partying there first time in summer, I was supper happy. Sound quality, bar, people, outdoor area, everything was very good. Second time I went there in December, it was just a disappointment. They didn't do any improvements or adjustments for winter. Since there is no real indoor chill room, in winter it becomes more like a concert hall, not a club that you can party all night long. They could at least arrange some outside area with rain protection and fire. It feels like they designed a club for Spain but then decided to open it in Cologne without any adjustments :) I will definitely go there again when the weather is good enough again.

My first time in Cologne and at this club. I was in town for exactly 24 hours. I Came here to see Berlin’s Cinthie and Meat play their respective sets. The sound, lighting, fog system is EXCELLENT and everyone working the venue was VERY helpful to this non-German speaking American. I get the impression this place is new and I hope it THRIVES for the good people of Köln and its nightlife!
